THE GAME
--------

A Retro Remake of 'Splat' for the Retro Remakes Competition 2004.

It is basically a maze game but with a difference! The maze moves
automatically and you simply have to survive. Not as easy as it
sounds though as there are lots of deadly traps to avoid and being
squashed against the maze edge is also not a good idea. Each game
uses the same maze but it scrolls in a random way each time using
a distinct set of rules which I managed to fathom out from the
original game.

I have tried to keep it as faithful as possible to the original
except for the last level which I have made easier to understand.

I have also included a low-res 'real' spectrum graphics mode for
the nostalgic value!

Once you have completed 9 levels you will be back at the start but
everything is much quicker.

ORIGINAL GAME
-------------

The original game came out on the 48K ZX Spectrum in 1983 by
Incentive Software Ltd, programmed by I.Andrew and I.Morgan.

You can play the original Spectrum game on the "World of Spectrum"
